How it works
So it's important to say first of all that if you are just buying 1 or 2 laptops, you are not going to get the same level of discount as someone who is buying 100. With that in mind, please don't contact us to say you want to pay the price when buying 100 laptops but you only want 2 for now!
OK. So that bit out of the way, this is how things work at RPC Components.
Because every machine, even if it is the same make and model or has the same CPU as the next one, may be different in some small way. Because of that, every item that you see is 'JUST ONE'
Other companies may sell you 100 of this machine or 100 of that machine but we can guarentee you, they will not be all the same. We would rather tell you exactly what each machine is, what it has and in some cases, any minor issues or defects.
For ease, when viewing the site, we do group like for like machines together either by make and model or by CPU but, when buying, you are buying one item at a time.
So, with that in mind, below is how the discount structure works
Banding Example
Any 1 to 10 Units:
If you add between 1 and 10 items from any category to your basket (excluding Hard Drives and SSD's) your basket will automatically reflect the price shown for each item, in the 'Any 1 to 10' group.
Any 11 to 25 Units:
Add one more item to your basket, and your whole basket will change to reflect the prices shown in the 'Any 11 to 25' group. This includes all the items you added previously.
Any 26 to 50 Units:
Add between 26 and 50 items (in total) to your basket, and your whole basket will change to reflect the prices shown in the 'Any 26 to 50' group. This includes all the items you added previously.
Any 51 to 75 Units:
Add between 51 and 75 items (in total) to your basket, and your whole basket will change to reflect the prices shown in the 'Any 51 to 75' group. This includes all the items you added previously.
Any 76 to 100 Units:
Add between 76 and 100 items (in total) to your basket, and your whole basket will change to reflect the prices shown in the 'Any 76 to 100' group. This includes all the items you added previously.
Any 101 to 150 Units:
Add between 76 and 100 items (in total) to your basket, and your whole basket will change to reflect the prices shown in the 'Any 101 to 150' group. This includes all the items you added previously.
Any 150 + Units:
Add over 100 items (in total) to your basket, and your whole basket will change to reflect the prices shown in the 'Any 100 +' group. This includes all the items you added previously. On average, this generally works out to be a discount of between 60% and 80% off the base price!!
Make An Offer
Even with these massive discounts in place, you may sometimes feel that you want to pay a different price for some of the items in your basket. So, please don't be afraid to make us an offer.
In the last colum of your basket there is a box that is labelled 'Offer'. It is pre-filled with the Banding price of course but you are able to change this to the price that suits you.
